Swanley House Clearance Requirements
We were hired by our clients, a group of students living in rented accommodation in the Swanley area to clear and clean their property so that they could hand their keys back over to their landlord and get their full deposit back. They had lived in the property for the last three years and had just finished their studies. As they were all moving on to different locations they didn't wish to keep any of the furniture and so asked us to donate it all to local charity shops. They told us they were quite a clean group of people generally but their finals had meant they hadn't kept on top of the cleaning over the past few months so the house was quite dirty.
House Clearance Overview
We arrived at the property, a four bedroomed terraced house in Swanley at 9am sharp, eager to get started as soon as we could. One of the students was there to let us into the property and informed us that everyone had removed all of their belongings and that whatever was left in the property was to be disposed of. She then left, leaving us to get on with the task at hand. As we had been informed, the property was quite dirty, with a good deal of dust, sticky floors and spillages in the kitchen. Thankfully all the floors were laminate meaning that we didn't have to lift stains out of any carpets. There was furniture in every room but not that much, so we decided to clean and remove all of this first and pack it into our vans to take to the charity shop in Kent later. After we had removed all of the furniture we realised there was even more dirt than we initially predicted and so we unpacked all of our wide selection of cleaning products including mops, hoovers, dusters and large bottles of bleach. Armed with these tools we took on one room at a time, hoovering, dusting and mopping, removing sticky marks left from spilt drinks and dirty fingerprints that had been left on the doors and door handles. As we moved from room to room we erased every trace of student living from the property that took us three hours in total. Once we were finished we were sure you wouldn't have been able to tell that students had lived in the property at all, a result we were very pleased with and were sure our clients would be happy with too.

Despite being cheap quality, all the furniture that we removed from the house was in a serviceable condition once it had been wiped down so we were able to take it all to charity shops in Swanley. Despite all the dirt there was not much waste in the property, but the little that there was we were able to recycle at a local recycling station.
Our clients were very pleased with our job and informed us that they had handed their keys back to their landlord and after inspecting the property he had agreed to give them their full deposit back.
